What is the LANMUS LM-800MGP?

The LANMUS LM-800MGP is an 8-port Gigabit Layer 2 managed PoE switch engineered for use in applications that demand intelligent power delivery and managed network control within a restricted space. All 8 Gigabit RJ45 ports are IEEE 802.3af/at Auto-sensing PoE ports capable of providing up to 30W per port with a total power budget of 120W. It works great for providing power to Wi-Fi 6 access points, IP surveillance cameras, VoIP phones, and smart IoT sensors without additional AC power lines.

The LM-800MGP is unique in that it is capable of serving two purposes. The switch can be managed via a Web interface (HTTP/HTTPS), Console, Telnet, or SSHv1/v2/v3, or SNMPv1/v2c/v3. They can also directly switch to hardware VLAN Isolation mode from the front-panel DIP switch for zero-configuration port security. The LM-800MGP is a lightning-protected, 6KV, fanless steel-alloy enclosures that deliver quiet operation and continuous running.

The LM-4804XS-SFP+L3 is a large concentration point that provides 48 Gigabit SFP slots and 4 dedicated 1/10G SFP+ uplink ports. Network architects can now link field nodes that are separated by as much as 120km with a single-mode (up to 120km) or multi-mode fiber transceiver with no need for an extra copper-to-fiber media converter.

2. Full Layer 3 Routing Engine (RIPv1/v2 & OSPFv2)

The switch offers high-speed hardware-based Layer 3 packet forwarding. By supporting dynamic RIP and OSPFv2 routing protocols as well as 128 IPv4/IPv6 static route entries, inter-VLAN routing and subnet traffic management occur locally on the switch. This minimizes unnecessary backhaul traffic to core routers and optimizes network latency.

3. Industrial ERPS Sub-20ms Ring Self-Healing

The LM-4804XS-SFP+L3 supports ITU-T G.8032 ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) for lines that are critical for communication. All ports can be in chain, ring or star topologies. It takes less than 20 milliseconds for the network to reconnect if a fiber cable is cut. STP/RSTP/MSTP spanning tree protocols are also supported.

4. AC+DC Dual Redundant Power Inputs

It has a redundant power system to ensure uninterrupted operation in industrial & utility applications, with both AC (100-240V) and DC (36V~72V) power feeds. The secondary source power will take over the load of the primary power source if the primary power source fails or if an outage occurs.

5. Multi-Layer Security & Traffic Shielding

The LM-4804XS-SFP+L3 delivers powerful protection against unauthorized access to the network and attacks. Security features include 802.1X port authentication, 802.1X MAC authentication, 256 time-based ACL policies, Denial of Service (DoS) attack protection, TACACS/TACACS+ and DHCP Snooping with Option 82 binding.

Built inside an aluminum alloy shell for optimal thermal dissipation, the fanless design reduces mechanical wear and noise while preventing dust accumulation.
